Purpose of the Photoshoot: To create fine art portraits of the female nude, emphasizing the symbolic connection between the human body and nature, as well as exploring the expressive possibilities of light and form.
Concept: A nude female figure is aesthetically and delicately covered with large burdock leaves. The concept blends natural elements with a stylized, minimalistic visual language. The color palette features soft skin tones contrasted with a vibrant background.
Location: A neutral studio space with a dark ceiling, carefully prepared for controlled artificial lighting.
Lighting & Technique: Four light sources were used: two key lights on the model, one rim light, and two background lights. The white backdrop was illuminated from both sides using yellow and blue gels, creating a striking color gradient. The shoot was done using a full-frame camera with an 85mm portrait lens.
Model & Styling: The model’s look is natural and graceful, with minimal makeup. The large burdock leaves gently cover the intimate areas, reinforcing the idea of unity between the human body and nature.
Result: A curated series of 6 artistic images selected for the portfolio. The project demonstrates proficiency in complex studio lighting, refined composition, and a sensitive approach to the theme of nude photography.
